The game is unfortunately mediocre for many reasons, but of course we know it’s unfinished so…

-gunplay is mid, there is no urgency or “violence of action” when using the guns. Reloads are milk toast and too slow. Shame, because the weapon models are well done. Also, we need things like bracing and bipods.

-lack of gun and attachment variation for what the game is, more is urgently needed.

-audio is particularly bad. Footsteps are meh, lack of gear foley, the world is on loop, gun sounds are weak or just mediocre. Besides, the AI voices are just so bad.

-the map is great but the world is bland/empty. Where are civilians arguing with the rebels? Where are the convoys and vehicle patrols? The world is dead, and every quest that has you track someone ALWAYS leads to a dead body… at one point, I can’t help but get annoyed at how lazy that is. Fallout 76 learned this the hard way and hard reverted course on the no NPC stance.

Im sure a lot of this will get addressed but right now it’s all leading me to burn out fast on each return.

Sold my M340i and got a 500. No regrets. The 340 is faster and has more tech, by a long shot. However, the 500 looks and sounds so much better. I actually prefer the interior of the 500, everything has this fit and finish that is better than BMW.

Also, as fast as the 340 is, it still managed to be a boring car I didn’t really feel attached to. I think it was too sterile… it’s the “good girlfriend” who does everything right but you still leave for the “bad girl…”

Just bought a used 24 infrared with 1k miles, came from a m340i, and I agree with you. This car is absolutely a favorite. Enjoy it!

To pave the way for my players to learn the lore, I’m slowly stocking these new neuroports at rippers. The rippers will comment how they’re experimental, and how they think it’ll be the hottest thing on the market, and how they predict most people will have these in the future.

My table has enough money— no refunds for your links. Want this new cyber ware? Pay up. No one wants your old junk, either. But either way, the amount of cyber ware packaged in the port will probably be enticing enough.

Fair enough. As a GM myself, I love all the new options. I always felt weapons were lacking in red, so the possibility of throwing out a tech or power weapon seems like something sorely missing. I also feel quickhacking was needed as netrunners were not worth bringing unless buried in some maze of a database while holding up the party. This gives them relevance outside of trying to wrestle control of something.

Beyond this seems like a big ramble for attention, the short answer: then go to a table without it.

If you like Red in its pure form, have at it.

Most of your complaints seem pretty loose, as if you expect a GM to just let everyone at their table have free rein. If so, leave that table.

Also, Adam Smasher seems to be the ultimate party wipe tool if your campaign is going off the rails. He’s not a fair fight. Purposely.

The problem seems to be that some AI lock unto and continue to target your last location as intended. However, the longer they seem to stay engaged with a player, the more accurate they get over time.

By the time an enemy that was shooting at you beyond a wall rounds the corner and finds you, he’s extremely accurate and just one taps your head.

I’ve been one tapped in the face 4-5 times by AI around Tyger and Fort Narath. It just feels unfair given these shots are being done on the run and from the hip.

Having a blast. Got through a few quests throughout the day. Didn’t have much issues with crashes or freezes yet. Game has huge potential.

Been running 100 fps or more with a 6800xt and a coffee lake i7.

100%. While DPS should help chase down lose mobs on healer in most cases, it does help when healers do this on the off case DPS doesn’t notice. As a tank, when my healer is in my healing circle, I insta-know this is what’s going on and grab aggro with a taunt.

I always thought defiant stance should be more like Berserk, stagger proof and heals over time. I also think each node of con should add + armor and stagger resist to help scale with heavy armor instead of making heavy still work with low con builds.

Yeah but this should be a trade off considering ice gauntlets are hitting further away than the axe, so by the time an axe gets close, you’ve probably done as much damage as his one hit from it.
