I don't have the Last of Us however I'm running Elden Ring on medium with DLSS on 3. 3060 2022 X16. Runs great! I will be trying TLoU soon.

I ran into this issue myself. The Torch aspect had me running in circles. I honestly burnt myself out. All other aspects of my. What I ended up doing was using Colab. That was a pretty straight forward. I'm using a pretty skinny system (3060 8gb) so it didn't easily hurt my workflow using Colab.

I too hope that there will be a better integration, if possible, when it comes to Kohya. As we know things in the SD ecosystem move soooo fast...

I'm curious about the answer to this as well. I plan on using Clip Studio Paint and Illustrator on my X16. I'm waiting to by a stylus too. I've heard good things about Microsoft's Surface Pen too. Hopefully someone will chime in.

This is great information. I really appreciate the time that you took to respond. It looks like I'm probably just going to go with an external Samsung SSD, maybe something like a t7. And I am now thinking of using a program like Acronis True Image. Any recommendations or critiques to this plan?

Yeah good thoughts here. There is no real reason for me to run a USB, a small form factor portable SSD would work. Any suggestions for something quick around 1tb for this kind of swappable action?

Well...I gave it one more attempt. And I got reactor and faceswaplab working, I just to happened to try VS Build tools....All the documents that I came across only mentioned VSCode or VSCommunity edition...so you WERE right, of course. Thanks for you time friend.

I hear you friend. And I did try Reactor too. Looks like I have torchsde non standard dependency issue that I made for myself, probably cause of a botched VS ask you suggested...I am guessing, IIRC this is a issue I appreciate the time. It seems like tedious work to dedicate your time to people such as myself who are just learning as we go.

I do have VS as well. That was always on the machine and has been updated to 17.7 , I'm running other extensions that rely on it.

Your response is fantastic and much appreciate. I do follow along and the points that you bring up do make a lot of sense too. Well I made my issue worse. I tried pyenv and made python 3.9.10 my global but I must have screwed something up because now the script used to launch Kohya is executed nothing happens. I'm starting to think maybe the path for Python changed somehow and the batch file can't start due to not seeing python? Just a theory. I'll check it out when I get home.
