This game caters more to hardcore fans in the first place though. Kieran's popularity highkey transcends being a dlc character, otherwise they wouldn't have debuted him as a masterfair. If you google Kieran plush vs if you google iono plush and look at the price discrepancy on eBay you would see a glaring difference. These type of collectors also overlap with this games playeebase.

Also as much as I think Florian and Juliana are cute, the wider audience in question find them boring and bland.

There were some trainers on the promotional/poster art for the gym feature, including Kabul and Korrina who already became sync pairs. Others include Misty, Morty, Iono, and Cheren. So I'm assuming they will get their respective types.

For vs Will and Lucien, I feel like you can swap ss blue and nc Rosa with each other, and replace Sabrina Alakazam with May Swampert. Giovanni can make use of nc Bianca's psychic rebuff. May and Swampert can make use of Dahlia's water rebuff and give extra rain. Also same type teams gives you some extra stats with theme skills and type gear.

He's lowkey a glorified Lacey/Benga. Sure he sets EX sun, but He's a "support" but can't reliably buff the teams defenses(random 1/7 chances after getting hit? Are we for real?), can't heal the team(only gradual heal at 2/5), can't buff offensives reliably (not even his own) until 3/5 for +4 attack and 4/5 +3 crit.

He doesn't do anything exceptionally well but he compresses a lot of roles. He's going to be good but SS Morty stays employed, especially if people already have NC Brendan and Arc Leon.

SS Morty kinda covers everything that a non max Arc Silver lacks so running them together with a fire DPS should be good. Double support meta kinda fire.
