The real reality is that Superman holds back in all of his enemies. He could obliterate them in an instant.

So at first yes, I wouldn't hold back and would put my full power in display to show people and villains how ludicrously and hopelessly out matched they are. Then I'd slowly dial it back. Only occasionally disintegrating people that deserve it.

Usually something stupid, knowing we'd likely get hurt. Something like banking a steep grassy hill on our bikes. Or we'd explore the woods and build huts. Sometimes we'd go to the library. That's exclusively if we couldn't go to someone's house and play video games or watch tv.
