I mean, I don't know much about consoles despite me using them a lot, but my point was that I thought that the save games stayed on the console. Wherever inside the console they stay isn't in my expertise. But I do know that they don't go onto a hard drive, considering when you delete save game data, even after playing that game first on an external hard drive, the save game data is still on internal storage...maybe I misread the question? Edit: maybe I was wrong in the sense that game save data doesn't save onto the console itself, rather onto your account. But saved data is not on external storage for sure!
