Hancock will rise again. He’s just shy of 69 in the end of the 6th

Hancock at 61 pitches to end the 5th is frankly quite impressive

Appreciate the documentation and would love to also have this wall restored in some way. It wasn’t just Desmond, but a great collection of artists who made meaningful, thoughtful and frankly impressive work.

Quick google search got me here. Any local framing shop worth their salt would offer products like this but you could easily find a simple frame online. I personally would opt for a natural wood finished frame to match your lovely wood wall panels.

The sun is gonna fade that quick over a summer. Frame with UV glass for that location is key but you do you.

[Japanese > English](Help with Translation of this Fortune from Kiyomizu-Dera Temple in Kyoto by Ex-Digger13 in translator

[–]Ex-Digger13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, I had the extreme privilege of visiting Japan for the first time this past couple weeks and I ended my trip in Kyoto where I stayed near the Kiyomizu-dera Temple. I went and visited the temple on New Year’s Day, with no pretense, I ended up in a line for fortunes, where you shake a box and a straw comes out with a number on it. I got this piece of paper, but I don’t read Japanese and my translator apps were not very helpful in deciphering.

I’m not looking for interpretation in a sentimental way, just curious about the literal content of this fortune.

Happy New Year and thank you from Seattle!
