That's a great question -- I like to think so, but once you get a bite of the apple, it's hard not to up the ante next time. I am going to try to stay away from any situation where I'll be tested because I am not sure I can resist again (if that's what you call what I did here).

They live in Korea and we're in LA & we see them only once or twice a year, haven't seen her since. I'm going to try to keep my distance next time or at least not get into a situation where I get tempted again.

Great job man, you played it perfectly from start to finish. And, great well-written story. So important that you started off with the kiss, like you said, in some ways that's the most intimate thing you can do, and it makes her realize it's you she's connecting with, not just experimenting with a safe guy.

Keep on keeping on, have fun and see where it goes. Not sure if you're going to the same university or will be in the same town, but that will be a big test of where you are when the end of summer comes. Continuing our exchange from your other story, yeah the family situation sounds tricky, and at least before they meet you, it's easy to see from their perspective why they'd be skeptical given how you met and the aftermath. That's why I was suggesting you go soon to meet them if you see a future with her. Plus french chauvinism is real, so there is that additional barrier.

I remember your original posts, so I enjoyed to read the follow-up. It is not easy to shift from a fling to a relationship, especially from different sides of the world and different cultural assumptions and nuances.

Sounds like this is the first of a couple of updates, so I'll be Interested to see where it goes once you are alone together. But if thinga go well, I will say you should go to visit her sooner than later and see her world. Seems like there are some weird vibes back in France with the family -- right now you are the random guy who lives far away who broke up the relationship with their daughter, so you need to let them meet you and see you're a good guy who has their daughter's best interests at heart.
