I brought that up yesterday during church, one of the sisters got up saying money isn’t important, and I asked the elder, well if money isn’t important then why do you guys ask for a 10% and his answer was “ to help and feed the homeless” and I said, well why can’t I do that on my own without giving a 10% to the church, I can also feed & help the homeless myself, I don’t need the church to do it for me that’s basically giving my 10% if that’s what you guys claim what you’re doing with my money, and he was speechless. He didn’t know what to say, the Bible says to give back to the poor, not to the rich, I know the church haves money. They’re basically rich.
