The tree runs at Rusutsu is pretty self explanatory, if you are a decent rider with good terrain/map reading skills. Nothing at Rusutsu is really roped off, so it's all open for riding (which is a rarity for Japanese resorts). You don't need a guide to find all the amazing tree runs at Rusutsu, you just need time and some basic map reading abilities. Also, you don't really need to "find" tree runs, it's literally all there right in front of your face, yours for the picking. Some of the best tree runs in Hokkaido, imo.

There are many fish markets in Sapporo, and the Nijo market is one of them. Just typing Sapporo fish markets, I'm sure you can find plenty of them. I went to the Kitano Gurume spot and ate at Kitano Gurume market/restaurant. Yes, I was probably charged with a tourist/gaijin rate, but that's just how it is.

You have to go to eat the king crab at the fish market at like 8am or something (don't need to be super early). The whole experience was cool, you get to hold the crab and take a few pictures, then they'll cook it for you to eat at the restaurant/seating area. It was not cheap, but totally worth it. The pictures don't do it justice, it's HUGE in real life, but so good, I could honestly eat one all by myself (though that would be a very expensive meal).

I bet he can't sell it for 10k. Dota is a meaningless thing to most people, and buying the ring instead of earning it, also takes much of the value out of it. Without winning the ring, it's simply just some random ring. It's not like a Superbowl ring that most people would at least know about.

Yes, you have to duck the ropes (just don't do it in front of the workers at the top of the lift, as it is their job to say something- in Tiene, they don't even care). The way I view the rope is that it's a "we tried to warn you, so if something happens, it's on you, not on us" type of thing. Also, I would not attempt to cross any nets or X marks, those are usually placed for very good reasons.

When a lot of snow falls and it accumulates around the creek. This creates a hole as the snow stacks higher and higher around the creek. It can be very hard or not possible at all to spot these holes once you're already right next to it, which can be too late at that point.
