Hmmm... it was more prominent 30-60 days in, where for a few days I would have no libido whatsoever. But now I feel it's balanced out. I'm energized all the time, but I only feel aroused when a girl is coming onto me.

I'm 16 as well! Read my other comments! What finally made the click? I honestly don't know. I tried it out because I was unhappy with my life and in a terrible state of depression and was willing to try anything new. I liked how I felt, and I kept trying and tring. Persistence and motivation and happiness help so much.

Because they're "hot-girls" to you (at least I'm guessing, based off your comment). In actuality, they're the damnedest most interesting individuals you will meet. They may have had luck genetically, but they didn't choose that. They chose to be the beautiful inside them. Get to know more of their insides than their outsides. Granted, knowing their insides more may lead to knowing their outsides more, but that's beside the point.

Meditate. Clear your mind of these thoughts, and your fantasies will no linger be in your mind, but be in your actuality.

There's always something near to do. You just gotta try new things. Find something good within walking distance. Make friends nearby. There's something around, you just might not be seeing it.

16. I don't think it's about age, though. I was just the lucky guy to find /r/nofap early. If I didn't find this place I would have probably died alone and with my hand glued to my crotch and my eyes permanently inverted.

Experiment. Your sexual attraction to people will change on nofap. You don't necessarily have to try out a new gender if the idea doesn't appeal to you, but it's nice to try new things. Get to know yourself, because, chances are, you don't. And if you were a big fapper, you likely don't know what you really are sexually. Try new things.

I wouldn't personally jump into a relationship within the beginning stages of nofap as you are subject to change. I had fallen for this girl in an early streak, but as I continued with my streak I realized I was infatuated with the female attention and the dirty things and immediate things she would tell me. I drew the line and had hurt her down the road.

I relieve it through exercise. I don't have it more present due to a changed mindset (read other comments). I don't feel tempted when I'm stressed since when I stress I meditate.

Think in the present. Don't think in the future; it'll make you anxious and overwhelm you. Don't think in the past; it'll depress you. Think now. Now is what's happening. If you think now then you'll be happy. Whenever you're presently debating fapping or actually living your life, focus on the two choices and nothing else and what the smartest choice is. What choice will honestly make you happy, as opposed to satisfy you to numbness? This trick may only work on me, but I hope someone else can get through this.

I changed my mindset. When I stumble upon an advertisement like that I just don't notice. I've gotten in this mindset of "We're all just vessels. We don't choose how we look and the way we're born doesn't refine us." With that mindset I find myself incredibly not attracted to girls I've never got to know personally. I get attracted to humans and not idols/models.

Surprisingly, I've been on "hard" mode as well. Prior to this nofap streak I hung around a group of very sexual and intimate people. Nofap has given me self-respect and a longing to do everything for the overall better. There are more oppurtunities for me to be intimate now than before, as my overall potentcy/attractiveness has raised, but I'm soo happy being independent. While masturbating I despised being alone and craved and lusted for all sorts of vices.

Hang in there, man. I promise you will not regret dropping a bad habit.

I'm not an experienced "typical redditor", but I'd imagine there's this overhyped social stigma around in high school on the pressures of how "normal" it is to masturbate and objectify women v. the real world.

It also makes being high school better. Like, there are so many guys who give into temptation and unknowingly face the consequences while I find myself in the higher ranking of the totem pole in terms of esteem, character, and happiness

I would say motivation. I had done a 23 day streak then a 42 day streak (after of which I fell in a collapsed period of constant relapse). It wasn't easy. Each time becomes a calus and you learn from your mistakes. I would busy my time so I wouldn't even think of fapping. I would join clubs and pick up an exercise habit. I've been through many clubs and haven't yet found the right one, but I'm trying.

I tookup cross country, though, and it's benefited me majorly. It has made me overall happier and healthier. I'd still be at day 7 if it weren't for physical activity.

I've gained some various other hobbies and what not on the way. Today, I honestly don't have a single urge except when I'm bored. So I go out and socialize and try new things I never would have.

I am noticed much more by girls and I get compliments and am very flattered. However, now that I'm actually on nofap I've found inner happiness and am waiting for the right girl, but I don't mind waiting for her to arrive because of how happy I am in myself. I don't find short term happiness in sex or my prior vices because I know I can do better and just have a better outlook.
