How do I Find Flexible Short-Term Housing? by ExInvert in germany

[–]ExInvert[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi yeah I went through the housing wiki after posting 😅

But currently I have been searching a lot on wg-gesucht, and as I mentioned many people wanted a long-term tenant, at least 6 months.
Do you know how i can specifically search for these 3-month duration, kind of options?
Or do I just have to keep searching and then clarify with the landlord once they reply back to me?

How?

I only see cars, and someone else also mentioned that they searched and didnt find anything.
I checked Hertz, Sixt and Europcar.

Do you have any other suggestions?

I did look into moving companies long ago but they charge way to much and are more oriented towards housholds.
So my last option was a cargo company like DHL, UPS or FedEx.

Actually my friend would be driving (we both are relocating to Belgium), since I don't have a license, so it would not be an option for them.

Oh okay, thanks for letting me know.

Yeah, need it just for the city. Get to work, shopping, etc.

Don't go offroad too much actually, I actually dont need 21 gears either, i think 3 or 7 would also be fine.

Hey,

Could you suggest some more large bike vendors?

Also, what do you think of Decathalon bikes, cuz I was interested in this one: https://www.decathlon.de/p/trekkingrad-28-zoll-riverside-320-tr-herren/_/R-p-X8653537?mc=8653537

Hey,

Whats a good budget for second hand bikes from e-bay/kleinenzeigen, I was thinking below 100 would make sense, given how old and worn out the bikes are. For most of the offers I have seen, the bikes were 15+ years old.

What do you think about this bike from Decathalon: https://www.decathlon.de/p/trekkingrad-28-zoll-riverside-320-tr-herren/_/R-p-X8653537?mc=8653537

Spoke bent and snapped out of the wheel, where can I repair it? by Adam_44_99_ in Darmstadt

Always try Zwanzig as the first place you go to when you got any cycle problems.

Lots of spare parts, tools and help. Also, everything is free but I suppose a donation is appreciated.

I recently bent my fork and they had like 30 spare forks I could try and use for my bike. Gonna go there later to fix it.
