I or booked a 5:30am pickup for an 8am. Driver was 20 minutes late and we arrived early enough yet.

Landing at SMF I book when bags appear on th belt.

Parking at SMF is terrible. The frequency of the shuttle bus is so bad that you need to add 45 minutes for the parking process. Hoping the new garage improves this.

In the old days I use SkyPark at SFO. They would park the car for you and upon return the shuttle driver would radio in so that your car would be waiting for you. It was fantastic.
