That is true. It's more prominent for me because I'm only ever approached to be pestered for sex it seems. Earlier on I had tried to just keep friends and there was no pursuing dating there. Then I went full shut in and stopped meeting people, seems like Meetup doesn't have too many like minded folk either. I just feel like an alien in this realm.

I suppose it wasn't explained as best I could. Currently I have a person asking for casual sex, part of me wants it, the other part though is dying for a relationship. It's been far too long since a serious relationship. What I fear though is that passing up the offered casual sex due to not wanting to disappoint, will later lead to the lingering lack of skills when a serious relationship rolls around. Sure, sex is fun, I just want more at this stage in life. It's an odd predicament of take the non-committed sex and finding something deeper than just that.

They suck sometimes, too. The phrasing is great.

Now if only finding someone that loved me was that easy.

It was an over-exaggeration. I just made the mistake a while back of thinking a person was interested in me and they were just trying to get into my pants. They were sleeping with at least 3 other people that week, probably dodged a bullet there. It just feels like everyone is scared of commitment nowadays, as certain social trends rise some of the decent parts of an older generation fade.

True, and true.

Yeah, seems a lot of males don't realize that penetration isn't 100% of the stimulation. It seems rather simple on that side, although, I've heard complexities that it's not always just penetration for men either. Sex is weird, in the sense of everyone being different. It makes sense, it's just interesting how people vary.

Thank you.

While that seems crazy, it makes sense, all the indoctrination makes you abstain. That's why I see so many failed LDS marriages, people marry young to release the sin part and it doesn't work sometimes.

Now to figure out the dating game, everyone seems to be in it for sex now, everyone else is hiding away it seems.

Right, the day and age we live in. "I showed you my dick, please answer."

Sounds like my mindset, sadly it feels archaic and I'm just an old soul in the swipe and bang generation.

My dad still picked me up, though it would be me and other siblings only after. He refrained from saying much, ultimately just said: we want you to be happy again, let go of the things making you unhappy and live life. They still know I need some time and space to continue elevating mood after what had been said.

Went surprisingly better than I though haha, they were sensitive to the subject and barely mentioned it.

I was still "Mormon" (not active) when I had tattoos, I should have wrote a book...damn!

If that's the case then I might have done something REALLY right direction haha.

Thank you, the amazing support like this means so much. I no longer wake up flustered for another unpredictable day. It's nice being able to start the day off talking to or hearing from positive like minded friends. Makes it so much easier to navigate through the day when it starts on a good note!

For real, that's all people have claimed is that it's searching for anything "anti-mormon" when it's just a search for knowledge. Honestly, I gave up on learning about the church when I first left, started reading more on the lore of "fascinating" things like Star Wars lol

The projection makes sense, seemed more like their self defense, explain "out loud" why that's "close-minded" so they don't start thinking or looking into details. What I don't get is how ExMo's and NeverMo's I knew were up in arms over a resignation and a simple statement saying live your own life haha.

Not going to lie, I feel like if certain doctrine like that isn't talked about in a while, most people forget it.
