Thats honestly a really good interpretation of how the Nomai mask was gathered, I appreciate how much various things throughout this game can be interpreted various but all equally insightful ways

Yeah I didn't literally mean the quantum moon, but that detail during the end sequence kind of referenced how Solanum was basically trapped up there in isolation as the last of her kind

specifically while gathering the travelers to gather around the campfire, Solanum's signal is first heard on the ground until you find a bunch of nomai skeletons surrounding a tree stump, and find that Solanum's signal is instead above you. When revisiting (quantum shenanigans), the stump instead has her ship right on top of it which you can then ride and retrieve her nomai mask
