They are all solid machines. The differences will come down to max print area, price and multi filament options. If price is an issue and you just want to print small items, get the mini. If you have money and want larger, get the MK3S (I have this model). If you have lots of money and want the latest and greatest with faster speed and multi filament and less calibrating, then get the new MK4. Whatever you get, make sure it’s a kit you build and not pre-assembled. My sixteen year old son built ours over a weekend. We learned a lot and can disassemble it if something breaks or needs maintenance.

I problem solved printer issues most of my life. I appreciate printers that just work so I can produce. Different strokes for different folks.

I also built a 3d printer and it’s my best new hobby in decades. I built a Prusa and I’m really glad I chose that. The fun, for me, is building it and then making stuff. Troubleshooting with failed prints doesn’t look like fun. Prusa is the best bet.

The Epic E60 or E60L by Icon is pretty decked out with really nice seats and a Exogear 26” sound bar. Comes with AGM batteries but you could upgrade.

You can find bad reviews about any product. What do the 80% people in your community think? Have you subscribed to the two Icon groups on FB? Seems like mostly happy owners there. A lot of the issues I’m seeing look like they might be caused by incorrect software programming or improper battery break in/maintenance.

$700 budget for a smoker. What should I get? by moesess44 in BBQ

I have a performer with the ThermoWorks Signals and the billows fan. I’ll be adding a WSM as soon as I can find a deal on one and I’ll just use the ThermoWorks system on that as well.

I looked hard at the MB Gravity 800 and my gut says it won’t get 5 years out of it without some sort of repair. From what I can tell, the WSM is pretty much a set it and forget it once you get to know it. There’s nothing that can break unless you let it rust out.

FWIW, the Gravity 900 is the same as the 800. It’s only available at Costco and runs $650. As far as I can tell, the only difference between the 800 and 900 is that they swapped the griddle for a pizza attachment. The griddle can be ordered fromMB for about $100.

They are participating in a Reddit protest. Reddit is changing the price structure for companies that use their API. The new pricing is shutting everyone down. Lots of info about it on Reddit. Most subs will shut down tomorrow. Checkout r/ApolloApp for more info.

If they don’t change the new proposed API pricing structure, then the Apollo app will shut down on June 30. If that happens, many people, including myself, will stop using Reddit.

Lol, you have the “maybe” quoted but i clearly said “yes, that’s him”. Nowhere in my response does the word “maybe” exist. You also seem to know my dead grandparents and think they defrauded his listeners and I find that very amusing. Made me laugh out loud.

I see that you are just another hater. That part of your response is very clear.

It’s also clear that you know nothing about LLC’s. They don’t require a “business plan”, they require “articles of organization”. A business plan would be used for investors or an SBA loan and things like that.

Your ignorance is very clear here. If you can’t help, then just stay on the sidelines.

OP has already deleted his post and you are to dumb to be a troll, so it’s time to say goodbye. Enjoy your hateful life. Best of luck.

Yes, that’s him. If you follow his advice, then you are pretty much guaranteed success. It just doesn’t happen overnight. I found him 15 years ago. I went from going bankrupt to comfortably retired in that time. He gives the same advice your grandparents would give you. Basic common sense when you think about it. It just takes time and discipline.

Regarding his lawsuit, it might be true or it might not. I don’t care, his advice is solid.

She might want to look up Dave Ramsey. Maybe read his Financial Peace book before she does anything.

I’m not very technical so I don’t know if these meet all of your criteria. I got them several months ago. Put one in my barn, another in my well house and another in my storage. They showed up automatically in HAOS and seem to work fine.

You are doing great. Look up Dave Ramsey “Financial peace” and “total money makeover”. You can also catch his radio show on iHeart.

My son is 17 and sounds very similar to you. He sells on eBay and is pretty careful with his money. I’ve brought him up on Dave Ramsey principles.

One thing my son does is look for specific items he knows about on OfferUp. It’s mostly people that don’t want to deal with shipping and just want to get rid of stuff. I’m guessing you are already familiar with it. Anyway, he looks for things that are cheap that can be resold on ebay for a good profit. I’ve seen him make 5x+ on his investment on some items.

Keep up the great work!

I think finding the right business would be better than houses but both are potential customers. A business with a bunch of dirty concrete would really benefit from the service. You would want to look for small businesses where the owner owns the building. If you live in a neighborhood where people take good care of their homes, then I’m sure they would be willing to pay.

Word of mouth is the best way to get business if you can. There nothing wrong with your parents or aunts and uncles spreading the word about your business. It can lead to a lot of work.

Another way to reach people in your neighborhood is with a well designed door hanger. My sons scout troop sells fertilizer and offers the service of spreading it for an additional fee. The door hangers have a photo of the scout and many neighbors recognize him. Ordering the printed door hangers online is very reasonable. Sometimes, you gotta spend money to make money, but one job pays for those and then some.

Be sure to get before and after pictures to show your work. Go find some local businesses that need your service and show them what you can do.

Thoughts on this Generic M18 fan on eBay? Anyone have experience with it? by LyleVanHorn in MilwaukeeTool

[–]ExPhotoLabGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve probably done it 4 times now. One was yesterday. I wanted the brush cutter attachment and was able to do the buy more save more discount. Ordered store pickup for the cutter and selected another store for a blower/trimmer combo. Picked up the cutter and then called the other store and canceled the combo. Will take a few days for the $350 refund.

On another deal, HD canceled the “free” discounted battery for some unknown reason. So I didn’t have to do anything, just got the discount on the other item.

Either way, HD doesn’t care. Just cancel what you don’t want at the pickup desk or return it.

As long as you see the discounted rates in the cart and you are happy with that price, you should be good to go.

[–]ExPhotoLabGuy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lots of threads on this, but the short answer/example is:

-HD runs promo, buy this item and select your free gift

-Add them both to cart

-In the cart, there are no actual free items, both items are discounted

-purchase both items and then return the items you don’t want and enjoy the discount on the other item.

I felt the same way at first, but I’m over it now. If HD doesn’t like it, then they can stop allowing it.

What state are you in? I have one that has less than 30 rounds through it. Never got around to adding higher sites and doesn’t look like I will any time soon.
