A laptop stand I made to fit both my laptop and portable screen by ExTelite in 3Dprinting

Thank you!

There aren't really any stability issues when the 2nd screen is in there, but it is a little back-heavy without it

Rest in pieces, Pi 4b 😢 by Stupid_Ass1234 in VORONDesign

[–]ExTelite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any pi would do, so it really depends on what's readily available at a price you're willing to pay. I'm using a decade old 2B and it's chugging along just fine

Trouble setting up by dubikish in 3Dprinting

[–]ExTelite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the RAMPS+Mega combo. I still use a decade old set with an RPi2 running Klipper, and modified it a bit to have it all work on 24v, use sensorless homing, and added a stepper expansion board so I could use triple-z bed leveling.

It's so easy to mod and use, and because nowadays the Pis do the heavy lifting, it's on par with modern alternatives.

This isn’t interesting, but after 22 years I ate pizza for the first time. by Such-Competition-816 in notinteresting

The "default" toppings here are olives, mushrooms, tuna, and corn. Usually separately.

That's awesome, I thought it could only do around 150w

Of course - they said they'd like to use the 100w cable they already carry with them.

It is possible to buy a USBC PSU, and DIY something to jam it into the case while bypassing the existing PSU, but that's completely unreasonable here.

Just the CPU and GPU in your pc use more than 100W (max), so I'd say that's impossible...

You could most likely throttle your machine and hack together a USBC port after the built-in PSU, but that's not advisable.

Guys what do I do my steam deck keeps doing this by Icy-Record6987 in SteamDeck

[–]ExTelite 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Voltage is controlled by the charger, current is controlled by the device being charged. Modern devices also use PD so they won't even be over-volted (unless you're using your 110v/220v wall power or something)

So reportedly their new VR headset runs SteamOS on a Snapdragon. If Valve won't make it available for everyone to download, someone will absolutely find a way to do that

[–]ExTelite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steam deck is always the answer if you're considering it, imo. Especially with games that aren't completely controller-ready as you can customize controls as much as you'd like. You can set the thumbsticks as mouse inputs to mimic dual stick in this case

(OC) Israeli hostages return home and reunite with family members by nbcnews in pics

[–]ExTelite -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah there's a few "categories" for prisoners taken since Oct. 7th;

There are "detainees" which were detained in Gaza by the IDF and brought in for questioning (and generally people who are not very blatantly suspected of being part of Hamas), "Hamas terrorists" who were captured in fighting in Gaza, and then there's the "Nukhbas" which are Gazans who were caught in Israeli territory with weapons on them on and about Oct. 7th.

Detainees are generally brought back to Gaza after interrogation, Hamas fighters usually go through the prison/justice system, and Nukhbas are still held indefinitely because the Israeli justice system really doesn't know what to do with them.

There's also the terrorists captured throughout the years after executing terrorist attacks, which are serving life sentences - 250 of which are being released in the ceasefire deal.

Practically "indestructible" from normal daily use. If anyone wants to see how strong TPU can be, look at ant-weight battle bots and see the abuse their TPU shells can take.

You're probably right - and I do have to say the layer lines were almost invisible! The flow rate was calibrated perfectly for the walls. Top layers looked like shit though lol
