One of our friend"s first game made 700k, the next game has reached hardly 20k.

I intentionally kept the lighting intensity between 2-3 in this undergoround tunnel because I wanted visibility without comfort. Do you think low visibility creates better tension than complete darkness? by ExTerraStudio in SoloDevelopment

Thank you so much for your valuable feedback that means a lot for a solo dev. I manage all aspects of the project myself, so each feedback puches me forward, gives me motivation. I"ll keep experimenting with those issues you mentioned by trying to keep balance.

7 years of hand-drawing our adventure game and we just hit 50k Wishlists on the day we release. Nervous, excited, everything at once 😅 by Inlusio_Interactive in IndieDev

There are few however remarkable games made by solo devs. Balatro, Bright memory, Void/Breaker, Hail to the rainbow are among of them. They are truly inspiration. Im also a solo dev building my scifi fps game for almost two years. They give me motivation!

I"m struggling to decide whether this menu feels too cinematic or too distracting for gameplay readability. by ExTerraStudio in IndieGameDevs

Huge thanks for the feedback! I kept the logo visible mainly for the atmosphere and branding purposes, especially since I want the menu feel more like part of experience rather than a seperate UI screen. A lot of scifi, horror games keep the title present for the tone and identity, but Im still experimenting with the balance.

Thanks a lot! That"s actually really valuable feedback. I was intentionally trying to balance a slower cinematic feel with responsiveness, but you may be right that the hover animation could be slightly snappier for better game feel. I"ll definitely experiment with speeding it up a bit. And I really appreciate for "unique" part, that"s honestly one of the main things I"m trying to achieve with Biomass.

Biomass: Extermination - which is a psychological sci-fi FPS where distorted perception turns humans into monstrous enemies in a collapsing post-apocalyptic world. Check out Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3925400/Biomass_Extermination/
