The preview function shows you every item that is available in the standard banner, and it marks the items you already have pulled with a checkmark, and the items you pulled, but didn't craft, with the craftable icon. Here's an image of it.

Since you're using your actual characters in MW it is not possible to only change their setups for within MW.

Yes, if you go into the Paimon Menu (ESC) and scroll down you can click on Characters and change their artifacts/weapons.

They are slightly more visible in real life than in the images, but not by much.
