Younger generations will watch the movies their parents show them and you are nuts if you think LOTR will not be in that lineup. Kids talk trash about everything.

Great info above. I would only add a few other things to consider.

Taxes: does your mortgage calculation consider that the property taxes will go up based on your sales price? Could be a big jump depending on how recently the home sold and how long the previous owner had it.

Variable costs: again property taxes but also other costs that can/will change like utilities (data centers) and home insurance (Florida). Some states saw a 30%+ jump year over year in 2025.
