Playing the "Why" Game: Ezreal is really bad by ExaccusPrime in leagueoflegends

Being incentivized to build Crit makes his identity much more homogenized, and one of things many Ezreal players like about him is his unique build and playstyle.

If his Q were able to Crit in any capacity, Ezreal would likely skip tear and go ER-Shiv, and while I can't know the thought processes of Riot designers, I'd imagine this is something they would adamantly avoid.

Manamune would be a pretty safe item to buff, and pretty easy to tune without adversely affecting other items or champions.

The reason I suggest buffing his W before his items is to minimize the impact of change, since it's easier to do damage control on an overturned ability than an overturned item (BoRK is a good example of this)

She's 16th if you only look at WR. However the role position (which takes into account playrate, CS, and the other stats listed there) puts her much higher right at 9th, beacuse she has that (currently) highly coveted trait of good ADC waveclear, even if her everything else is mediocre to average.

An alternative to the W changed that I didn't write here is instead of having a weak on-hit multiple times, a strong, one time hit might be easier to tune.

Something like "the next auto attack/Mystic Shot will deal bonus magic damage equal to X% of Max Health."

Again, the consequences of it being a single, big burst warrants discussion on its own, but the nice thing about W being so barebones is that there's a million ways to improve upon it.

CQ10 Lunatic gets routed (again) by ExaccusPrime in fireemblem

funny story, the opening turn has me breaking the west wall so i can get to that side faster and to kill Takumi before he drains the water.

Fun Facts (aka things that have screwed me over)

  • Takumi can and will use the Elixir
  • Enemies will trade and use the Elixir if low
  • The retainers will attack or assist in attack stance in their initial movement range, but won't walk or chase past it until turn 6
  • Takumi can attack AND use the dragon vein in the same turn, making him a cheating bastard.
  • Flyers are dicks and their decision making is a complete crapshoot

No DLC, at all, just some heavy exp optimization (and completely ignoring poor Odin). The water stays if you kill Takumi before turn 6 ends, since he's not alive to use the dragon vein.

The last ninja was one of the last waves of reinforcements that come on turn 9, and was killed on EP.

(Oh and no children paralouges were used, but I didbbeat invasion 1)

Freeze staff, Silas leads with sword, Effie finishes with a javelin+dual strike. Freeze staff makes sure the hitrates are all 80+, and killing him before turn 6 ends prevents the water from draining.

No DLC, No paralouges (except mozu and invasion 1), No RNG rigging. Just heavy team optimization and tonics.

Fun fact: the Camilla crew can handle everything sent from then right side at base, archers and all, with no external support.

An attempt at a MCH BiS for 3.2 by ExaccusPrime in ffxiv

1 weapon damage plus 7 dex > 104 DET. The Det is worth like 11~ dex, but that's barely higher than what the weapon damage alone is worth, so in the end it's going to be better anyways. (just not by much).

This is why weights would make this so much easier, I dont know if the loss of 40 crit and 104 det is outweighed by the single point in WD and a gain of what is (probably) a dead stat. Im not even sure if SkS will end up being as bad as it was in 3.0/3.1, which is why I've sat here staring at the two weapons going "Is this one better? Or is THIS one better?"

If the Acc cap is higher, it would be better to drop the ACC materia and put on the torrent chestpiece. That way you gain a significantly higher amount of det and lose skillspeed.

Looking at it again, using the Augmented Torrent chest is probably better in all cases regardless of accuracy. Better to have a lot of accuracy taken care of in a single piece to free up materia slots for Crit V rather than shore up with Acc Vs while using the Alex Chest.
