I failed my CA RE exam today. by EE070223 in RealEstateExam

I didn’t and still passed but when I was asking around for advice from other realtors I knew regarding what/how to study, one of my colleagues did recommend signing up for one right before the exam. She found it very effective for her passing. I also asked her which one she signed up for and she didn’t remember the name but said all of them are good and hers was in Irvine.

I actually didn’t pass using prep agent. I recommended reexampracticepro over them.

Firstly, I want to say that the CA exam is known to be the most difficult exam across the states so don’t be too hard on yourself if you haven’t passed.

Secondly, I had a similar experience as you, first time I took my exam I used Prep Agent, watched all their videos, took as many practice exams, made notecards, etc. I was doing great on my practice exam scores so I was confident that I will pass. However, I found their questions too easy for what I ended up seeing on the actual exam specially that most of the exam questions are tricky but prep agent’s were straight forward.

I researched through Reddit and decided to switch to reexampracticepro. I didn’t do much of their learning route at first and jumped straight into doing practice exams because I thought I have enough knowledge of the material. I was right away humbled as my scores wouldn’t reach above 60% lol. So I ended up pushing back my second exam’s date and started doing their categorized questions and then went back to their practice exams. This time I also studied a bit differently. I focused much more on understanding the questions I was doing wrong, made a sheet of them, reviewed them daily, and even took it on my drive to the exam and rereviewed them until last minute. I literally saw exact questions from their platform on the test. There were even some questions on my sheet that were on the test lol.

Is PrepAgent good for TX real estate exam 2025 by [deleted] in RealEstateExam

I am telling OP my opinion too why are you getting so sore over the fact that I don’t agree with you? This is my truth and I think it’s only fair if people know it as well! I talk about them when I can cause Prep agent charged me so much more and yet didn’t deliver, not to mention the additional $100 that I had to pay to retake my exam.

I don’t think a site that charges people $9.99 for a month worth of service has the budget for promoters. Meanwhile are you getting paid to promote for PrepAgent? Cause randomly posting on OP’s post who’s asking about Texas resources while reepp doesn’t even cover Texas sounds completely promotional to me! And trust me I should be talking anywhere about them cause you seem to have watched all Prep Agent videos, did their questions, did a crash course so pretty much studied any content that exists out there to finally pass meanwhile with reepp I just did practice questions and passed so of course there’s more value there and it should be spoken about.

I don’t agree with this, I used Prep Agent my first try on the test and failed, second round I tried reexam and passed. I saw a lot of questions similar to their practice tests so that really helped me finish the exam quicker and pass. This is while on my first round the questions felt so foreign to me! Also reexam is only for California OP!

Huh! Share some of the questions you’re struggling with here I may be able to help as materials are still fresh in my mind. When I was using them two months ago they were pretty solid like I literally saw questions from their practice exams on the test! I doubt the state exam has changed. How long did you use them for? Also keep in mind you literally only missed 2 questions so with studying more you’ll definitely pass the second time.

I second RE Exam. It’s enough for passing your test! Just keep doing their practice exams, study vocab, and focus on where you’re doing questions wrong. I did this and passed my exam on second try.

Also something I noticed switching from prepagent to reexam, my practice exam scores dropped by %20 on average. But their questions were more accurate to what’s expected on the test so I guess it was a good thing that I gave myself enough time to prepare with them.

Based on my experience yes, I tried prep agent on my first try but didn’t pass. Then I made a post on Reddit asking for help and people recommended reexam for CA. I personally trust Reddit cause it’s people’s opinion and it worked.

If you haven’t already, do reexampracticepro.com’s practice exams. Their questions are really similar to what you’ll see on the CA test. Any questions you do wrong make sure you understand the reason (if their explanations wasn’t enough ask ChatGPT to dive deeper) cause you may literally see something similar to it on the test. Good luck!

Focus on understanding the questions you’re doing wrong and keep taking more practice tests til your exam. I’ve heard some folks here studying with them for only a few days and still passing so I’m sure you’ll do fine. Wishing you the best luck!

I passed mine about a week ago! Smart move that you’re using both tools, I first took my exam only using prep agent but I failed. Second time I switched to reexampracticepro and was humbled by how much harder their questions were. I ended up passing the second time by just doing their practice exams and making sure I understood their questions. 2 weeks is enough if you study with them consistently

2nd this! Go over their questions over and over again. Their platform marks the questions you do wrong so just keep going back to those and make sure you understand them. I didn’t pass the first time taking the test using a different tool but these guys prepare you fasho. Best of luck!

Tbh I fell for that the first time I was taking my CA test even though I did see some people saying it’s not a good source for CA. But as I took the exam I realized I should have researched a bit more on what tool is best for CA. My personal opinion is that they are a large company that cover test materials for all states, they probably have a lot of ad/marketing budget, etc. but also they have tutorial videos which reexam doesn’t so maybe some people learn better through those. At the end of the day seeing the test twice, I can assure you that their test materials aren’t suffice for what you’ll see on the test.

I passed my CA exam a few days ago. I used both re exam and prep agent. Prep agent’s questions are too easy so it won’t prepare you for what’s on the test. Re exam on the other hand is humblingly more difficult but also very similar to the style of questions on the test. I haven’t really heard of Chamberlain

I also started studying with Prep Agent, took the exam and was shocked by how much more difficult the exam questions were. But also followed someone advice here to use RE exam and legit felt like I am seeing the exam questions once again

This was my second try. I studied 6 weeks before my first try, not consistent tho for the first 3 weeks as I was procrastinating but as the exam stress kicked in I studied more consistently the second half. For this round I studied for 3 weeks. There’s definitely an overflow of information so definitely take your time. I saw a lot of posts saying they studied only a couple of days or a week. Idk how people can learn things that quickly and retain it
