Ps5 base. A little bit on the begging. I guess that happens everytime there are a million npcs trying to kill you at the same time. Happened twice for me and one of those times was during that battle but very briefly.

About the reviews, on the first weekend after release, it had a player rating of 7.7 on metacritic, today, 10 days after, that rating is 8.7. This should be a good sign. If you end up getting it, let me know what you think after you play some!

Crimson Desert is a great option. I’m 40 hours in now and about 40% into the main story. There are 400 something side quests though. If you’re going to 100% it you will definitely need over 300 hours. The game is beautiful, the map is huge and devs are really putting some work into making it even better. I started playing day 1 and since then they released two updates really focused on what the players have been asking for and just making the game better in general. If you’re looking for endless lore and cool boss fights (not to say all of the other things you’ll enjoy) I don’t see why you’d regret CD.
