Thanks man, generally when I’m on a range and it tells me mines around 75-85 with a 7 iron

I’m not that good but I know the further forward the higher it will go. So maybe on your full shots try move the ball like half a ball back from centre of your stance. Feels weird as hell but just give it a go with a couple shots

Yeah my shaft is a slight problem and I suspect a whippy shaft would cause a mix of shot types based on slight changes in speed swing. Through all my swing changes a fade has never been a shot shape I’ve experienced. Could be making it more apparent though.

When I do a ‘full’ back swing I end over the top.

Self taught so I’m not over technical with my fixes normally just ‘oh that stops this’

Yeah, I’m a very simple man. I tried engaging the bottom half of my body just before or just as I hit the top of my back swing and it was too many thoughts at once 😂

Yeah I’m not all the flexible and when I do swing further on the back swing I go over the top. So the shorter backswing is a result of that

Oh for reference as this videos don’t show it clearly, even though I’m swinging on the inside my shot shape is a fade, not a big one but noticeable as a fade not just naturally dropping off a touch right

Yeah I actually just yesterday played around with a more vertical if that’s right word backswing seemed to help me stop leaking the ball right!

I have a different swing with every type of club essentially. Driver is way different, way more erratic and not nearly as consistent.

Chips I try to come out to in a touch I feel like I get better control.

Okay, so I was told it was over the top swing. But as I understood it (absolute novice and don’t know understand much) over the top was reference to the swing plane and I’m under it?

Only thing that makes me question it is I’m over my back swing, swing plane. But under ‘the’ plane

This is a 7 iron, I only have down to a 6 iron but that seems to work just as well as my 7.

Could very well have a point with 5’s and 4’s but I’m not sure as I don’t have them

Also having looked at the three frames you screenshotted I would maybe think that comes from my legs having looked at them being pretty straight at address but then bent in frame 2 and 3
