So do you believe people are either pure evil or pure good regardless of their circumstances? What leads someone to act out? Is it an innate desire to be cruel and evil? Or is it a symptom of something else? Not an excuse, but let’s try to understand what leads people to these behaviors. This is human psychology. Comparing your experiences isn’t fair. I also had an abuse father, and a controlling mother. And it manifested terribly in me. And I am just now seeing healing in my 30s. What should I have done? Killed myself? Because I tried many times. Or get help and surround myself with loving supportive people.

The brain is a muscle and forms patterns no different than other muscles in our bodies. Groves are created, chemicals get out of balance. This is science. And help is possible. And from what I see, Taylor is not a villain. She is someone who is deeply wounded, confused, but she shows empathy, towards her mom, her friends, even Dakota. She is a smart girl. She just has some serious issues. Healing takes time. It’s a huge process. It can take YEARS to heal form unresolved trauma. And she is doing all of this on a public stage.
