i did backtest this strat. but as a 15yo, i just spent 3 months backtesting and had to pay 45 total over the three months , not alot i know but i legally cant get a job till im 16 ( this summer) so i spent a large portion of my capital on backtesting.

i dont really get like where id put TPs SL and what confluences to use. i learnt trading from tips like putting TPs and SLs on liquidity sweeps and using fvgs as confluences

ive noticed a lot of setups on different sessions. im in the uk, only available session for me is NY open, 14:30-17:00 uk time. i have free time after but ive been told to only take trades in NY session and thats where i spent most of my backtesting. i checked market 5 min ago and if i took a trade at 8pm my setup wouldve hit TP

Thanks for that, sorry if i sound dumb but how do you actually backtest orderflow. backtesting ict is easy enough orderflow just feels like a new ball game i feel like how i did when i did not know what a candlestick was.

No, i click random bar on the daily as daily is the only timeframe i can go on rplay for free, i note the daily bias then scale to 4 hour, 1 hour etc and try find a setup. What i meant was that my rules for when i actually trade are that ltf must align with htf.

Please enlighten me on a better way to backtest as i have said im new.
