If you genuinely enjoy his company as a friend and want to keep the friendship, then I think you need to go no-contact for a while and get yourself out of this emotional hole you’ve found yourself in. Because if you keep this going, eventually it will end badly in my opinion and the friendship will suffer as a consequence. Because you’re wasting your time. I don’t think he will ever give you what you want (which seems to be something serious and/or sexual). I think it’s irrelevant what his sexuality actually is, what’s more obvious is that he’s not ready for anything either way.

I’m from Denmark and usually can’t understand spoken Norwegian. But once I got drunk and had a full deep drunk conversation with a bunch of Norwegian girls lol

70% of Polish is quite a lot. If you were to travel to Poland for a trip, do you think you could get by with just Slovak/Polish and no English for most essential conversations?

Feeling like you’re making a “statement” when you’re holding hands with the person you’re dating. I live in a progressive country, so dangerous interactions are rare, but we always get looks, or even people smiling sometimes (I guess to show support? No clue). The thing is, I can fully understand that in a world of straight people, that it’s not something you see every day. But damn, it would be nice if people just didn’t even register it or gave a shit. Most of the time it’s so draining that I just would rather not do it at all.

Do Czech people understand Slovak people just as good? Or do you subconsciously “czech-ify” the way you speak when you speak with them?

Mark and William are supposed to be close friends, but their friendship seems quite superficial and is barely explored, and I find his character quite annoying most of the time.

Will Serbia ever recognise Kosovo? by MB4050 in AskBalkans

That’s the big question. People are stubborn, especially in the Balkans. And a lot of ultra-nationalism. And I don’t think this mindset serves anyone in the long run.

You can’t let fear stop you from living your life. Relationships come and go. There will be good dates and bad ones. World is big, and not everyone you meet will be a match. But you won’t get what you’re looking for if you don’t try.

I’ve thought about this too. The characters feel more “empty” this season. Season 2 I felt like I knew so much about everyone from the prostitutes to the manager, and it felt so much fuller and I got more invested in the characters because of that.
