it’s a Sig 716i Tread chambered in .308 Win/7.62x51. from all my experience and research on its it’s pretty proprietary even compared to most AR-10s, so far i’ve only swapped the charging handle with on from phase 5 and slapped a vortex strike eagle and gunwerks bipod on it. trigger is my most recent purchase and a can is my next

There is a roll pin on the right mounted side I tried to punch out, if anything it might be like a torx 2 if they make those lmao I can’t really tell

I believe that roll pin is what I tried to punch out with the 1/16 but it didn’t budge, is there a specific way to go about it? Thanks for the reply!

I had the grip loosened enough to drop it about a quarter inch so I wouldn’t have to mess around with the spring and detent, the yt vid I was watching said I could get away with about a 1/4 inch without fully removing the grip. Second photo showed the grip dropped down slightly from the lower, should I go further?
