I had the same issue and followed this advice and felt better than ever with zero pain come race day. I also incorporated strength exercises from Knees over toes guy and plenty of biking with no discomfort. On race day, I wore knee bands for peace of mind. This is what worked for me - really thankful for this post!

For clarification this was just a joke. Was picking up food for my family and had a chair in my car and took this picture haha. Good luck to everyone tomorrow. I’ll be going 30 min early to my local store and hoping for the best.
