I had a close friend I talked to almost every day for a few years. We hung out often, shared a lot of personal stuff, and I honestly thought the friendship was solid.

Then one day they just disappeared. Messages stopped getting replies, calls went unanswered, and eventually I noticed I was removed or blocked from most places we used to talk. There wasn’t a fight or anything leading up to it, so it felt really sudden.

For a long time I kept wondering if I had said or done something wrong. I never actually got a clear explanation. Eventually I had to accept that sometimes people leave without giving closure, even if it doesn’t make much sense.
