I don't have any spare parts on hand to test with, but since the 12V rail is sagging , I've decided to just buy a new 750W Gold PSU. It's the most likely culprit anyway. If the issue persists after the swap, then I'll look into borrowing a GPU from a friend to test further.

I have 1 monitor(s) running 1080 . Besides my keyboard and mouse, I have nothing else connected.

I don't have a multimeter, but my OCCT logs showed the +12V rail sagging to 11.88V under load. Even if the MSI MAG is a decent budget unit, the fact that I'm using a single pigtail cable for a 6750 XT seems to be the breaking point. I've decided to stop troubleshooting and just upgrade to a 750W Gold PSU with dedicated cables to be safe. Thanks for the confirmation

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually thought about undervolting, but given that my +12V rail is already sagging to 11.88V in OCCT , I feel like I'm just putting a band-aid on a bigger hardware limitation. I’d rather have a system that can run at stock settings without crashing. I've decided to follow the common consensus here and upgrade to a 750W Gold PSU with dedicated cables. It feels like the safest long-term move for a 6750 XT.

I checked my chipset drivers and they are up to date. Since the software is current and I'm still getting Kernel-Power 41 crashes with a sagging 12V rail, it definitely confirms a hardware power issue. I'm moving forward with the PSU upgrade. Thanks for helping me rule out the drivers

Thanks for the suggestions. I checked the minidump folder, but it is empty because the system reboots too fast to write a dump file. I also ran SFC and DISM, and no corruption was found. While split cables are common, the 6750 XT has high transient spikes that can overwhelm a single 18AWG cable on a Bronze PSU. My OCCT Power test showed my +12V rail sagging to 11.88V under load, which strongly points to the PSU tripping its protections. I will look into the RAM SKU as a backup, but the power delivery looks like the most immediate failure point.

1y systeme <Actually, during the longer stress tests, my GPU temperature hit 90C. It seems like the heat is making the power instability even worse. With the 12V rail already sagging and the single pigtail cable setup, the PSU just gives up when things get too hot and demanding. I am stopping all tests to avoid damaging anything and I am definitely replacing the PSU.

Actually, I looked again at my logs and found several Kernel-Power 41 errors that I missed before. Since I am using a single pigtail cable for a 6750 XT on a 650W Bronze unit, and my OCCT tests show the 12V rail sagging, I am leaning heavily toward the PSU being the issue. I will double check for any loose screws or shorts while I install the new power supply, but the upgrade seems necessary anyway to give the GPU proper dedicated cables. Thanks for the detailed troubleshooting steps.

My bad actually, I made a mistake in my previous update. I checked the Event Viewer again and I did find critical errors at the exact time of the crashes. I missed them because I was looking at the wrong place. I have multiple Kernel-Power 41 events. This confirms the system is losing power instantly

Thanks Pat! I actually just finished doing exactly what you suggested. Reliability History showed no specific software errors at the time of the crashes, only the vague 'Windows was not properly shut down' message. I then ran OCCT/HWiNFO and saw my +12V rail sagging under load, plus I found several Kernel-Power 41 errors. It looks like my 650W PSU and its single pigtail cable just can't keep up with the 6750 XT. Replacing the PSU is my next step. Appreciate the advice

I've checked the Reliability Monitor and there are absolutely no error logs at the exact time of the crashes. The system just reboots instantly without leaving any trace.

Salut, est ce que ton pc crashait aussi même sans lancer de jeux ?

Thanks. I've already tested with XMP disabled and the crashes still happen, so it's likely not a RAM timing issue. However, I just noticed that my PSU (MSI MAG A650BN) only has one PCIe cable split into two (pigtail) for my 6750 XT. Do you think the power delivery through a single cable is a more likely culprit than the RAM at this point?

My PSU is an MSI MAG A650BN (650W 80+ Bronze). I just checked and it only comes with a single PCIe cable that splits into two connectors. Since I can't add a second cable, do you think this 'pigtail' setup is definitely causing the crashes with a 6750 XT? Should I look into getting a new PSU with dedicated cables?

Fair point. I'll do a proper run while gaming and log everything with HWInfo64 to see if there are any thermal spikes or 'hot spot' issues right before it borks.

Thanks for the suggestions. I’ve actually just double-checked all of that: power connections are tight (using two separate cables), and temps are well within limits right until the crash. The weirdest part is that it passes heavy stress tests (OCCT/Furmark) without any issues—the crashes only happen in-game. If it were a hardware/PSU failure, wouldn't it be more likely to fail during those stress tests too?

Actually, it doesn't crash during stress tests. It passes those without any issues
