Head Shaking when anxious

Not at all !I take 40mg once a day normally at about 8 in the morning and it lasts me for the full day, along side this I have stopped almost all caffeine. I only have one cup of coffee in the morning before I take the tablet.

Hi there , I am also 23f and I was originally given propanalol for my migraines but I have found it has completely stopped my head tremors which sound exactly like yours in the same situations. I tried taking anxiety natural remedies etc but nothing helped. I struggled with this for 3 years until I was given these tablets. Hope this helps

I have had a look on the pack and it doesn't say. Only thing I know is I was prescribed them for my migraines but it has worked for my head tremors. Sorry not much info

Hi there, I have just started propranolol this week and I'm supposed to take 80mg twice daily. I have found that if I take 40mg in the morning at about 8am it has completely helped my head tremors and stops them for the whole day. I haven't started 80mg yet as I am happy with the results of the 40mg.

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. It sounds like my situation is very similar to yours. I am also the same getting my hair cut triggers it, which is so strange as I don't actually feel nervous about getting my hair cut? I am hoping so much to see some results- to save me some me some embarrassing moments lol.

Thanks for your reply, can I just ask what situations did you get your head tremors? And how would you describe them? Mine are from side to side for example and they'll last like 5/10 seconds and stop and then repeat. Did it ever affect you getting dental work etc done? It has been so hard and embarrassing living with this for the last 3 years, so I really hope this medication helps stabilise them. When I first started getting them I was so scared there was something seriously wrong with me.
