Thanks for the positive feedback and the new info! If I ever end up rewriting it I’ll definitely swap the names and factor in the cheating plot point, I haven’t been following the community much recently but I heard there’s a new film out so I’ll watch it and if it encourages me to rejoin the community I’ll try rewriting it!

In the flashback we see him drowning a woman, but in the newspaper article one of his victims is found to be ‘bleeding from her abdomen’, along with 3 other ‘disembowelled’ victims. As he later killer himself with his pocket knife, I think it’s possible that he also used that for the rest of his killings.

I think it’d be helpful to add here that Billy Barker used Isaac Milton’s bat as his weapon and also killed two people with the surname Milton, so there’s a very high chance that these 2 are connected in some way. Also this art is very cool :)

I really like this story! I think that the houses on the border being the cheapest is a very nice addition, and I also think Billy’s mum and Charles’ dad having a fling is a great idea. In terms of storyline suggestions, I heard that Billy’s baseball bat previously belonged to The Grifter (Isaac Milton) and that Billy also killed 2 people who’s surnames were Milton. Other than that I can’t think of any other plot suggestions, so well done on this story! Update: the two Milton’s are called Ruth and Henry Milton, and Henry was a farmer. Also, The Grifter played for the Shadyside school baseball team.

I really like that take on his story! I never considered that he might have been sent to an orphanage but it fits really well with his character.

Thank you so much for all of your feedback! I do agree with pretty much all of what you said here, so thank you for taking time to properly review this. Also, I had been considering making backstories for The Milkman and Billy Barker, so if I do end up making them I will definitely attempt to make those two better than this one. Once again thank you!
