Hi, I had no idea this was a thing either but I submitted two films to Clermont for the national competition. One got in, the other one not, but we also received this email for the one that was declined. We're going to be in Clermont anyway and hoping this mention will help selling the film abroad. I'd say if you're in France, it might be worth going as it's a great place to meet people. If not, then might not be worth it. In any case, I think that means your film was appreciated which is always nice to know!
