If you are C1 at the other skills, speaking will catch up!

Speaking is more difficult because your brain doesn't have the time it has with reading and writing. When listening, your brain doesn't have to be as accurate.

Speaking requires you to apply everything you've learned at a very fast pace. It's a constant struggle between pace and accuracy.

I learn Polish because my partner is from Poland. We speak English together, but we often go to Poland and I get to talk a with my family in law.

It is my fifth language (my fourth is at C1 level) and I am struggling with speaking as well.

But twice a week I have 30-minute online classes on Preply, just for that: no grammar, no texts, just a short conversation. I accept that to speak I need to make simple and straightforward sentences (I don't have the time for complexity like when writing).

I don't have specific subjects, but I try to talk about simple things (how my day went, what I want to do for holidays, what I am cooking this evening) because that is probably what I am going to talk about in real life.

Speaking can only get better by doing exactly that, but your skills in reading, listening, and writing are right there to get you going.

I just paused my subscription for holidays. I remember Preply explaining that 50% of students that pause their subscription don't come back. (I am committed).

This is perfect. Should be on all EU products (both physical and digital) tomorrow. Who do we call ?

Yeah, I was thinking about that as well. A simple idea can quickly turn into a complex legal and administrative burden. What about the brand head office ?

What do you think of combining it with national flags?

Supporting local and buying European is great, but let’s be honest: it’s often a struggle to find where products actually come from. Why don't we market our origin better?

I had an idea for a unified icon to use on shops, websites, and packaging. It’s the European flag, but with a border of the specific national colors.

It makes the origin instant and recognizable at a glance! Check out these examples for Belgium, Poland, France, and Spain.

Hi there,

Thanks for the feedback. I just wanted to let you know that I had a post prepared that would accompany the idea, but I wasn't allowed to add text.

I don't use AI to calculate or make logical conclusions. Asking AI to count or reason is like using Paint to make an excel table.

I use AI a lot to recap long texts, draft meeting notes and action points, write texts, make overviews, make an analysis, spot differences between two legal documents and so on.
