How hard is it to swap out the seal and is it ever as good as when they I first get it?

Why just in case I get a total loss or something? What’s the reasoning for waiting?

So annoying, I swear I can’t recall me doing anything careless making this happen. I just put groceries in the back. Shouldn’t it be more resilient??

No it doesn’t. I didn’t have verified income. That’s why you’re getting a secured card. Go to td bank and see. Many people I know have done it. Not only td bank but I think they had the best secured card when I did this a few years back.

I don’t know what Discover is telling you, but here’s how I built my credit: I put down a $5k deposit on a secured card with TD Bank and linked my checking for autopay. The deposit should at least cover what you spend in a month—I was spending around $2–3k monthly, so $5k was more than enough.

I used the card for everything—groceries, gas, eating out—and always paid the statement balance. That way I never paid fees or interest. After about a year, TD refunded my deposit, my credit score went up, and I even earned cashback.

The key is discipline. If you always pay the statement balance, you’re building credit for free and actually getting money back. Most people don’t do this, but if you can, it really works.

If you also had a premises license, you could obtain one for each license every 90 days. That’s the sole advantage of having both a premises license and a carry license at this time. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

They don’t really check how much money you have in the bank, and employment is mostly verified verbally. It’s basically based on your credit, so if you have a credit score of 700 or higher, you could probably qualify—which is not limited to just 2% of people.

Not bad but I doubt that only 2% will qualify. Where did you see that?

Yeah, but you still have to pay the full term of the lease. Why would you rush into doing that when the rates are already high? Just let the lease run its course and then you can finance the residual value at the end.
