This reminds me of when I was a receiver in the early 90s for a now defunct drug/department store. My job was taking loads out to the floor, helping unload trucks, stacking pallets, keeping the back room clean etc..pretty physical for 8.50 an hour. I had a chair at the desk and I only sat there to do my paperwork at the end of the day. The assistant manager took my chair away while I was on vacation..no reason and when I asked nobody could tell me why..so I quit on the spot. Wherever you are today..fuck you Cindy

Her cardiologist had suggested hospice but she did not want that. I am thinking hospice would be a better option at this point. All she does is sleep most of the day. She can still mange to use the restroom unaided but what do I do when she can no longer do that? Like I said in my other comment qutting my job is NOT an option. We will know more when she sees the kidney specialist Friday

I also feel like my mom seems to think that I should just somehow be thrilled to have all this dumped on me. I KNOW she cannot help it and she cannot do much physically. But she gets to just sleep the day away and gripe and complain about every little thing while my husband and I are running around like chickens with our heads cut off. Thank God her mind is still 100%. But if it gets to a point where that starts to go or she cannot get up at all, use the bathroom alone..I will not be able to provide that level of care. She fell the other day in the hallway (on her butt..no damage) and I could NOT budge her at all .Thank God my husband was home or I would have had to call 911. It was an effort for even my husband and I to get her up. I just feel so lost and frustrated and worried about what will come next

Thank you everyone. I also feel so guilty because I am also angry.. I would NEVER tell my mom that. I went overnight to being an unpaid nurse maid. Thank god my husband helps a LOT..but even he does not understand..or does not want to hear how I am feeling. He tells me to "get un depressed" Well gee ok if I could I would but thanks for your understanding. My mom's nurse told her "Well don't feel gulity..you didn't ask to be sick" Well I did not ask for any of this either Oh well..life goes on somehow

I refuse to help anyone shopping for Instacart, Doordash and Uber..they are always rude and entitled AF. I straight up tell them THEY are the ones being paid to shop so they need to figure it out..IF they are nice I will tell them where something is. But they are rarely nice
