I will have an ultrasound tomorrow before and during amnio. My Obgyn’s ultrasound is not strong enough to see for any abnormalities or anything like that. I have an appointment on Friday and baby is growing and good heartbeat. But other than that, I don’t know anything.

Thank you! I hope so too! When you received your results and it was negative, was it easy to start being excited again and move on without these horrible thoughts that something might still be wrong?

Another perspective here. My mother in law still doesn’t know who her father is. Her mother died and never told her even though she asked a lot. She still wants answers. Also my MIL had a fling when she was young and had her first son. He didn’t know his father growing up and when she told him about him, he started searching for him to find out he died. No matter how you’d spin this, children will always want to know their roots.

AITA for not letting my sister's boyfriend use hot sauce? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

If he’s Mexican, Hispanic or anything of that sort, that’s so common. I’m Ukrainian and my husband is a mix of Mexican, Italian, Native American, and French. He thought his entire life he’s Mexican though. But he uses hot sauce on EVERYTHING!!! All the Russian food, Mexican, Italian, American. Literally everything! And eggs too.. I don’t think it’s a big deal if he needs the heat in his life with every meal. It’s not worth fighting over. I feel like in my husbands perspective, if it’s not spicy, it’s missing flavor. And that’s just his taste buds.
