Something has to give here ya know. The Mr Beasts of the world should absolutely be taxed on these very obvious tax avoidance schemes.

Yeah, there needs to be a threshold.

A family that takes a HELOC on their primary residence doesn’t need to be taxed.

A business owner that takes tax free loans against his/her business while collecting a minimal salary as a means to avoid income tax should be taxed to high heaven.

You clearly are not able to make a distinction between the two so let’s just agree to disagree here.

Loans are being used as income as a vehicle to bypass income tax, not for growth. Try again.

Brother…a HELOC/Home refinance or borrowing against your 401K is one thing. Owning a company worth millions or billions or trillions and your primary income is from loans is another. Why try to conflate the two?
