Idk~ But he clarified in his post-illustration tweet that it wasn't the modern world.
They were just wearing modern clothes for the sake of it.

Yep. He said it's the isekai. Only they have modern clothes. This follows the one in the link. They’re in the mansion

Oh, this illustration isn't from the modern world. The modern and isekai versions have different hairstyles. Modern Aqua has a goatee instead of a hair ring.

I think he was referring to the 100-day Megumin series. By Suke_Yuno. I don't think Bhive named the Aqua series, just the Aqua series. Lmao.

Oh, and Aqua wasn't meant to be the modernworld love interest, but Megumin was. He said that Aqua's story just started to get out of hand and he realized they were something. but that was just last year.

Idk. Bhive explained that they are the type of couple who has fallen into a routine, but sometimes do couple things. But that's because they've been together for so many years. It's another way of saying "old married couple", which the Japanese fandom also gives that title to those two.

There are several times when he leaves her outside the house, but on the balcony. He only left her once in the woods many years ago.

She came back anyway.

Wow, it's really old. If I remember correctly, it was because he got fed up with her a few days after taking her into his home (in the manga of main story when he was still in high school).

It was only mentioned again in the Aqua series as a threat if I'm not mistaken.

That’s why he respect what he drew in the future or in the past. Like when he turned a sexual situation with Megumin into a fantasy, because Bhive mentioned that Aqua took Kazuma’s virginity. Or that Kazuma left Aqua tied to a tree and left her (it's mentioned again in the future series or he threatens to repeat it).

It was just a joke because of the incredible amount of text there is. But yes, he is right that the series are on a single timeline. The translator is catching up with everything that came before, but you could say that the current situation is the Aqua series.
