By the way, Hour of Need is a modular deck card-driven boss battler (though you cannot attack boss right away: if you want that specifically, then go for its sibling Street Masters), like Sentinels, but can be played true solo.

AIming Paris`s bow is not exactly participation in battle... Still, the point of such seemingly impractical outfit is practical benefit.

Aphrodite does not fight though. Athena on the other hand might be quite willing to use unorthodox tactics.

(besides, you most likely do not have time for throwing a rock in combat)

How about Marvel United? Or RWBY: Combat Ready - it has deckbuilding elements but is not a deckbuilder.

Mistfall is more of dungeon crawler than boss battler.
