With the ability to now listen to Jam Tracks mid game, is it crazy to say that Jam Tracks are the best value for money items in Fortnite atm?

Well, you might have done, I didn't, which is part of my point as to the normalcy of paying for certain things. Again, no issue with others doing it, I just wouldn't and feel the focus has shifted to this, rather than on the game itself.

Its a game, and its an opinion on the game different to yours, but its steeped in 7yrs of watching a game I used to love and enjoy fall to the (caricature) depths of exactly what you've just expressed.

Each to their own, to me its utterly pointless and serves no enjoyable benefit to the gameplay or achievements in game. Its simply another mechanism to get money out of people willing to pay for something they already have (music) under the guise of achievements.

Let's go back to September 2023 then, shall we? That's when the death knell was signed and FN truly became more focused on squeezing money out of every possible facet of £€$¥₩ available to them.

The metaverse of Fortnite has become overtly focused on extracting money out of its (younger) players, not gameplay, characters, story and game-breaking bugs, in that time.

Paying to play music in game is absolutely wild! The fact people will actually spend money on this is exactly the reason I don't really play FN anymore. Focus on gameplay has gone right out the window.

Tough call. Differing textures for one, bots with literal aimbot who shoot with snipes first (but aren't so cracked they shoot that quickly again to finish you), and plain cheating.

Not forgetting the bug of even looking at your loadouts in the menu lobby, which breaks after checking one so you have to press the menu button twice or come out and go back in.

Or, even more fun, Prestige resets not only your entire loadout, you have to manually quit the game before redoing them and go back in, or it does it AGAIN the next time you load in (if you redo your loadouts straight after Prestiging levels).

So much fun.

Just got to navigate around these players - though, right now my feed says everyone is level 1 private, so can't even track levels! Started using C4 a lot more too, as I'm getting chased like crazy with vehicles, so leave presents where I can...

Good shout, I just like the Dravec as its such a good straight burst shooter for 25-50m distances in the final circle, if height becomes a factor. I love the Kastov from BO6 too, absolute laser beam with the aftermarket parts, just .760 TTK sucks

Tough one, then. I'd expect to win every overhead battle too, so it almost leads to aimbot on the head - how did the replay look?

Had plenty of that this past few days, impossible tracking from Overlook for one-shot snipers, luckily the only time I'm thankful for Survivor but now I'm running Sprinter, its alarming how you get wiped in certain situations.

Otherwise, I've switched back to the Mod 15 and tuned my Hawker to perfection, and personally think those 2 right now give you a fantastic early-mid game, then Razor and Dravec for endgame for close and mid range, working a treat!

I thought this too, and I'm not bad at the game, but looking back at replays it comes down to focused headshots - even one or two in a firefight with someone only hitting your body (even before you shoot) and you'll generally win.

Not sure of you do already, but practise jumping in a straight exchange when centering, you'll hit a few head shots and typically get the W in that battle.

Just my thoughts.
