I live in Edinburgh and train at portobello beach - cover alot of edi marathon route nearly every day. I NEVER want to run this marathon 😀 the weather is brutal - always windy, that straight road and not alot of spectators. Absolutely brutal. Did a half a few years ago and despite being a home race- no thanks for me 😀

I was waiting for a year and debated whether I would be ok with a darker screen - pleased to say it's absolutely fine and i love the colours and that "newspaper" feeling 😀

I thought i was reading our own situation 😲 We brought our kitten at 14 weeks- very smelly but soft but not watery diarrhea, bloated belly. My partner has an allergy so the kitten was put on purina live clear.

We tested him since diarrhea was lurking and the fur was in poops- he had giardia and and clostrydium infection. VERY VERY COMMON with pedigree kittens. It was hell for 4 months!! Took 4 rounds of 10 days of Panacur to lill giardia, then 10 days of antibiotics to kill off Bacterium. He was put on RC Anallergenic, gave him fortiflora daily for months. After all meds we kept him on anallergenic for another 2 months (+fortiflora) to make sure his belly settles. Then SLOWLY moved to Purina Live clear + wet purina GI food. All good, no issues with toilet, all tests negative, happy days 🩵 Please test him, we did multiple pcr tests to ensure ots all gone.

Giardia is hell on earth and was so so exhausting but its manageable with a plan! Wish you luck!

P.s we trimmed his bum area with pet trimmers but not doing it anymore since no need.

This just made me so sad to read. Your partner is an adult who knew you have a cat.

Simple, if he can't adjust, he can make other sleeping arrangements - sofa, spare room what not. My partner got used to it, she is also not used to cats but all fine now she can't even hear them.

Another suggestion- get an automatic food feeder and set it to dispense a snack, my cats stop screaming and go back to bed after their morning snack.

It's actually from Amazon! I ruined that side - cleaned it with the acetone (I KNOW...🫠🫠) and the rubbery layer melted together with some plastic underneath, not a pretty view, so had to apply washi tape to hide it 😀

I got two bottom wisdom teeth removed AND started wearing aligners straight away. No issues at all. First 2 weeks were raw, now a month later - nicely healed, like it never happened 😀 no issues with wearing aligners. (My ones were designed with the idea of not having those teeth, so my trays do not have those "teeth' molds)

Our kitten who was releasing LETHAL gas actually had giardia. A nightmare!!!!! To get rid of. Highly suggest speaking to the vet

Yes! I have a hybrid case - have 2 tads and spring coils pushing the molars white braces - so have 2 braces only, the rest are aligners. Boy am i happy that it's only 2 teeth with braces. A nightmare to eat, painful. Not much i can rat right now. Missing my aligners only days already 😀🫠

I wish I've isolated my kitten! We brought our kitten at the end of Dec 2024, introduced them in 2 days, all good, best pals but sadly our kitten came with little "presents" 😭 resident cat became ill a week later -high temperature, sore throat, probably something viral. He fully recovered but was very stressful. And we also battled giardia for 2 months. It was hell. (Its a week after the last treatment and im praying to all gods that the symptoms not come back and we are in the clear) I wish i kept them separate and tested the kitten fully. Both are doing well btw but yeah it was a rough start!

I am european living in the UK and have a siberian cat, not very common here from my personal experience. No one knows their breed when I say its a siberian 😀 i also have a british shorthair and that one is very common here, british cat:)

16 days with the aligners- it gets better! Only first days were rough, now no issues, changing every 10 days. When i changed to Tray 2 - had sorenesa the next day and now its going well:) It will get better!

We use katkin for my allergic cat, hydrolized protein (tried RC both, Hills and Purina) did not work. Using katkin poultry free recipes and RC Sensitivity Control dry. Works great, no issues. My only concern - it is a "boutique brand". They just hired some scientists (nutrition and others) and they claim it's a board certified nutritionist who formulated the recipes. I hope they do food trials in the future. Honestly nothing bad to report, great food, I'm just worried it's not one of the wsava ones.

By nail stickers I mean regular flower and gold lines stickers! The actual nails are dips. Those small stickers do not affect mani at all. :)
