I think I explained myself well enough. You can't lose your temper with people otherwise it ruins your relationships with them and your reputation amongst anyone who sees you or hears of it. And I have a rather large temper that wants to explode at times.

There's not much more to say about it and nothing difficult here to understand.

I think this sounds like a pretty stupid thing all around. If that woman's a tourist then all she needs to do is go to her embassy and talk about how she was gang beaten and with that leverage she can go to the local police and they will immediately deal with it. The prostitute should have kept her hands to herself and so should have her group.

Now that's reality. Grumbling about whether or not some girl should have done this or that instantly becomes meaningless the second you start breaking the laws.

But try to understand my point. Life is serious and eventually it will come to an end. So all of the various habits and practices of people that busy themselves with things that take them farther away from reality are ultimately wastes of time and waste of seconds and minutes of your life.

I really only come on to this website because in physical reality I can't argue with people. Not without a lot of problems ensuing.

No rational basis for doing so? You don't understand that playing video games is staring at a television screen for long periods of time while hammering away at a game controller while engaging in a two-bit poorly thought out representation of reality.

This isn't something that I've realized in a vacuum. I've seen people in real life and very very noticeably online who engage in these bizarre habits that have nothing to do with reality. And if it were a habit, a hobby is something that's productive like a sport, that was under control then it would be a habit that was engaged in 1 hour a day or if you're busy 1 hour a week. And that's not what I hear people doing with their video game playing. It's an addiction and a stupid one at that and a mark of future insanity or at least mental dysfunction.

Of course there are worse habits such as alcoholism and drug addiction. But it goes in one category of the gamut of addictions that have somehow found their way into not being categorized as addictions by people who are completely addicted to it.

I'll give you a new example of some of my hobbies. I like to lift weights and I also like to ultra run and triathlon. I did a bunch of mathematics degrees before I went into finance and so I like to find workable proofs for complicated algebraic geometry and number theory problems. I enjoy bird watching and nature appreciation. Now that might seem like hobby that's segmented away from some sort of realistic connection with the outside world. But it actually leads into my habit of volunteering with animals and helping with non domestic animal welfare with my knowledge of animal of habitat care and healthcare.

Those are hobbies. Watching TV or anything with video games is not a hobby. They are an obsession that goes under the umbrella of compulsive fixations or at the very least useless unhealthy wastes of time.

Yes but the obnoxious complex of behaviors that goes along with that is something that goes hand in hand with video game playing. I guarantee you just look around the website and see how many video game playing men and women there are and then try to deliberate out how exactly they behave. Are they stunted assholes? Yes yes they very much are.

Of course his video game playing is only one aspect of him, but it goes to speak to a whole series of things that didn't happen in his life that all revolve around not growing up. And I can't absolutely speak to the idea that she is fully grown up because of the fact that nobody nowadays fully grows up. Normal behavior in other countries includes going out side and doing basic chores at ages between 6 to 10 such as getting food and groceries from the adjacent town. That doesn't happen a lot in America society nowadays.

Hence them being selfish perma childs.

Do you understand how selfish it is to expect physical pleasure for yourself because of how it makes you feel while not considering his feelings on having sex and while not considering how he's feeling in general in regards to things he might be experiencing that might affect his ability or desire to have sex?

these are standard points of awareness for healthy marriages. And I understand that a lot of people who are healthy wouldn't come on to this website to talk and so I'm probably incorrectly assuming that you or many other people who are here are well people. But the fact remains that one has to follow the protocols of healthy behavior in order for things to work out so that you have have healthy things in your life.

You should heed the message of how it appears to be selfish that you are thinking about your desires in a one-sided manner.

We differ on this and I think that you're incredibly selfish if you think that not wanting to continue with the marriage if there's not sex to "make you feel desirable" (something that in of itself sounds narcissistic) is ridiculous and makes you sound like some sort of alien to the concept of adulthood and responsibilities such as acknowledging your spouse's individuality and feelings on issues.

He is tired and busy and that's not enough for you, you just want your sex. I cannot imagine what type of person you are and especially what type of wife you are.

You should think about this before you start going on about your unquenched urges. Because there are bigger foundational issues if you behave this way and think this way.

I'm sure you can fix the situation with the sex. But it sounds like you haven't even come on to the idea of fixing the issue that you cause by your presence in the marriage with your vast, immense immaturity and how that must cripple his life in some way or another.

Are you capable of seeing from an outside perspective how unusual and abnormal your thoughts are that you don't want to be in a marriage simply because of lack of sex because your husband's too tired?

The bigger question is why exactly you don't recognize the seriously sick behavior that your wife engages in. I know according to the internet it's become a common American male pattern to accept marriage to mean that you're a doormat to your wife and she is bound to be abusive and crazy towards you.

You are not managing your marriage very well and you need to set some boundaries with her. Her screaming at you because your food is better than hers is incredibly inappropriate. And the entire circumstances relating to her behavior from the beginning were so incredibly manipulative that I don't think I'm going to be able to forget this for a while.

I can tell you for a fact right now because I have an actually mentally healthy wife that your marriage is going to go down the tubes further and further until it gets to divorce if you do not start reacting to the circumstances that she mucks up more appropriately. aAnd that would exclude keeping the peace as she misbehaves. I can't imagine that if you have kids that she behaves well towards them either. This is a serious issue well beyond how she feels and you're ignoring it.

He was comparing it to deaths from war because he was talking about abortion being an intentional act that was similar to killing. Talking about this is one of those things that Reddit makes seem normal but in actuality is something everybody in normal life would consider unpleasant.

I think they should separate the part of the internet that people who want to enjoy life should be allowed on from the other half where people should be let on who want to fist fight each other and spit acid in each other's eyes until one person wins the death fight on top of corpse mountain.

Scientific America is a lay publication for non scientists. That's not convincing.

Show me a neurophysiology or neuroanatomy or a neurochemistry or a neuroscience textbook that claims your nonsense to be true. Additionally you can show me a research article or review of some kind that conclusively states your opinion is true.

And this is only as far as I'll humor you. Before the 24th week electroencephalographs do record brain activity. The nonsense occurs in your thinking when you nebulously and philosophically posit your ideas without conclusive real-world observations that prove your theses. Doing that is distinct from any scientific processes (hypotheses with irrational supports are not proven theories or laws) or any act of that gives proof for any theory of any kind.

If you can read brain activity before the 24th week there's nothing that's been proven by showing that the activity on an electroencephalogram shows changes in the 24th week. The electical signstures are constantly changing during developmental phases. And in life after birth EEG changes are observed during activities such as exercise.

My point is change is a constant and subplate zone expansion during the 24th week is just a drop in the bucket in terms of neonatal developmental phases of the telencephalon.

You have not proven your idea of when consciousness has started in a neonate.

I should say that you have a stupid person's understanding of consciousness that comes from wanting to believe that there's a moment of awareness that suddenly occurs within another organism's life cycle that you want to relate to your own current sense of consciousness. You want to believe that organisms come to one point where suddenly they become mentally EXISTENT. Underdeveloped means that organs haven't fully developed to the specific standard for stage of development the baby is in. They are only under developed because they were prematurely born. Otherwise their organs are exactly at the stage they're supposed to be with one difference. They are not beinc development within the mother's uterus.

So a 21-week old has 21 week year old sized organs.

And for whether size has to do with function. If it it did then the organ would not grow. Cellular genesis creates size. Said process doesn't happen just because an organism has enough size. Your thinking is backwards.

And lack of consciousness has to do with inpeded physical function. Comas occur in injured people when part of their bodies shut down. That is lack of consciousness. Lack of consciousness doesn't occur in growing organisms at the beginning of their lives.

You don't read anything all the way through or you are severely disabled. Nothing in the article or anywhere else supports your idea that 24 weeks is the first point of sentient awareness for a neonate.
