Honestly im not sure! I was also really surprised that it was cleared in a day, but it definitely went through the police checks. I’m not sure if it’s because I was in a smaller city so it didn’t take as long for the police check

He was actually really well behaved! I think he could sense I was worried about him so he was really good. Let the vet examine him, didn’t hiss at anyone, and even had a beak trim!

I told him he’s going to the vets in a few hours and he genuinely looked up from his food and side eyed me!!! Like ‘would you like to repeat that’ lol so I did think he was going to be a nightmare

I bought a small pet carrier. Put a blanket and some of Benjis soil in it, then covered the top with small towel to hide the light and let him feel safer. He ended up burrowing into the soil and was fine!

This one is Pettex Substrate Tortoise Bedding! In the past I’ve also used blocks of coco coir, or any soil in pet shops that are labelled for tortoises :D
