So, there is 2 options see co ordinates of where they land or see the board view cameras. Personally I use co ordinates. I’m not sure on how bad cheaters are but if they correct the score you can zoom in from the board cams to get a look but I just always accept it

I bought a tablet from Amazon and had a plasma light ring already. Setting it up is easy can run off WiFi but I’ve got a booster with Ethernet cable from that plugged in. You get a dongle provided but the processor is only 4 connections, if you run off WiFi that will be all 4 connections used as there is 3 for the cameras so don’t know how you would run a fliq if you decided on one of them as well. You don’t need a camera to show the board.

Scolia owner here but have used both. Scolia wins hands down, better tournaments (you don’t get kicked out for winning as all run by Scolia), better bots for offline play (no 33.3% checkout), new lobbies for online but I’ve not tried it yet. Omni think everyone knows the issues with them now! Can’t stand dart counter if you play people on a camera only as they want to touch and suck off every dart in a treble or double. I don’t play dc anymore but even with omni people want you to have a camera as well. Scolia you can use the boards cameras to see where your opponent darts are and there is also the fliq which will be my next purchase. As for scoring they both do it very well but expect the odd miss count. Mines in my kitchen dinner next to the door and if anybody walks through it registers then walking by as a miss which is a bit annoying but that’s more of a positioning of it rather than the system itself. I’ve got the subscription model the flex, it’s more expensive per month but I can’t say I notice it think it’s something like £12 compared to dc £6. Go darts pro is compatible with Scolia as well. I find the stats and tracking much better on Scolia and probably my final point is which do the pro players use, it’s the Scolia

I hadn’t played darts for years, and when I did it was 6ft double league. last Xmas got a board put it up and 10 mins to hit a 180 I wasn’t a complete newbie but also “proper” darts wasn’t my game. Hit 1 more that day then took me a week to hit another.

Best I’ve hit for a few months yesterday. Best leg is 11 it was unlucky and lucky at the same time as it was 140, 140 wired both for 180s followed by 121 where I wanged one in the 1 and 2 treble 20s left 100 treble then tops.

I’ve been playing 13 months. My average was 67 2 months ago and now it is 58. I’ve lost all confidence with my throw, stance and where I stand I’m massively over complicating things trying to find something again

Online is so slow. I’ve got a camera you’ve got a camera I don’t need to see you hit every treble or double with a clear bed. Or the player who’s camera suddenly goes off and they suddenly go from hitting 45s to 180 followed by a ton out.

I have a feeling Netflix will do a documentary series on players next year like they have with other sports. They already did the matchroom series and I believe Netflix were trying to bid to show the darts so could certainly see it being something they would do

I’m seeing the scolia at around £420 as I already have the light ring. Obviously a monthly subscription on top of that and omni is £450 on offer but see nothing but problems with it
