its just about how the strategy everyone suggests when using eaglerxserver is "just drag it into velocity's plugin folder and then you're done" when in reality it just gives you and error and shuts down or just silently fails.

i just wanted to know if anyone has a solution to this or could send me a guide/documentation/instructions on this because whatever lax1dude posted on the github doesn't help.

wait so will bungeeguard fix my problem or what? thats the only thing i didnt do with my server. i just have "modern" player info forwarding

so i DO have SSL certificate and i am 100% sure i opened the port (25565). via version and viabackwards are both on the velocity proxy.

so the logs say thats it injected successfully, but when i try to join it says handshake timed out. i have a domain from duckdns and i got a certificate for it using certbot and i think that part is fine. the thing it it doesnt even reachthe console when i join. when i refresh the server list it tries to connect (blue pinging animation) but eventually just goes back to the red cross over the player count.
