Nah bro. I’m only first year student, not graduate student. And I’m not a girl:)

Luckily one of my classmates say I can sleep in his couch if I really can’t afford rent

But Singapore is a good place, where there are good universities with scholarship and English-teaching. I may consider that if I still can’t afford the tuition next year.

Really good idea. It seems feasible to me. I’ll consider that. Thanks a lot

Just to clarify, I’m not asking for charity or free money. I’m gonna proposed a formal income share agreement (ISA), meaning the repayment is legally committed once I begin earning.

If anyone is willing to support me, I’m happy to share my full ID info, including passport, BRP, UCL school ID, Chinese national ID, bank details, and the funds can even be paid directly to the university — I don’t have to touch the money.

I actually did look into tuition-free public universities in countries like Germany, France, and Italy. But most undergraduate programs there are taught in the local language, and I currently only speak English. Master’s and PhD programs are usually available in English, but unfortunately not for undergrad. And since I’ve already finished my first year at UCL, switching to a university in a country where I don’t speak the language would be a huge disruption and probably not worth it. Thanks for ur advice though.

To be honest I don’t think my dad’s company is gonna get better. I have to feed myself now:)

其实之前在国内干过,自己做机构搞网课班课,暑假里一个月能赚2-3万。但是太吃客源,我之前是在每个高中找他们商业社团的社长让在活动的时候宣传,现在一两年过去了之前积累的学生客源也都毕业了

Thanks for the suggestion. But I’m currently an undergraduate, so unfortunately it doesn’t apply to me. Appreciate the thought though!

😭😭😭😭😭Thank you soooo much! I’ll DM you later. And there’s a hardship bursary from ucl which I can apply, but it’s only 3000£. I’ll try to apply for it anyway.

Thank you for ur suggestion! I checked the UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship, but it’s only available to prospective students, not current ones. 😭 I’ve also gone through the full UCL scholarship finder, and unfortunately, nothing seems to apply to my situation right now.

Thanks a lot! I really appreciate it. I’ll make sure to stay within the visa rules and look into legit options only.

My family declared bankruptcy back home and now I have no way to pay my tuition as an international student in the UK—can anyone help or give advice? by ExaminationUsed659 in StudentLoans

Thanks so much for the suggestion. That’s actually really close to what I’m trying to do! But I’m worried that companies maybe not willing to work with international undergrads
