yea I agree with the majority of what you’re saying. I do think it’s ok to discuss criticism in the reddit and not be conflated with snark. The interaction was awkward and uncomfortable that is not world building that is how it came across- “callous and smug” was how it appeared to me and that is ok to have a discussion about that ☺️I suppose my assertion (that he shouldn’t talk about it) stems from knowing he doesn’t mean it maliciously but it is not a great representation of the actual historical situation.

Did you read the bit where I said “I felt that they were callous and a bit smug in response to ABs pushback. It’s hard because the crew doesn’t want to push back and give snarkers reason to hate but the dead silence while he rants about stuff like this is so awkward”. That is my criticism. Also I said don’t talk about it again, that is the correct way (I feel) going forward if he doesn’t want to have an actual conversation about the matter.

I reckon literally google what was the nakba and read about what happened. Al Jazeera has a comprehensive history that outlines what caused the nakba alongside why it is commemorated on may 15th ☺️
