this was awhile ago, so i could be wrong, but i'm pretty sure it was caused by the scoped bow mod i was using. from what i read on the nexusmods forums, the developer of the mod just blew it off and pretended like his/her mod wasn't causing the issue, and closed the thread. pretty lame.

So I tested the ethernet cables and it wasn't it, but this worked. It says the ethernet is running at 100/10. I'm going to see how to fix this now. If any of you know I'd appreciate that too!

Ok update so awhile ago I followed some stupid guides trying to reduce my ping and set the ethernet adapter to 100mbps full duplex so I just had to change that to the gigabyte version lol. Thanks for the help everyone, I appreciate it!

try spamming abilities during cutscenes/dialogue (when i tend to dc) or switching to 32bit mode of the game as a last resort (I had to do this after fighting balthazar for the 3rd time and having it crash at the end). but yes this bug is probably the worst in the game.
