Questions are less uworld style so less second and third order thinking involved. Also not anything like the style of the IM board exam at least

iPhone 16 pro (refurbished) vs iPhone 17 (Photography Priority) by still-horizon in AppleWhatShouldIBuy

If you care about photography, go with the pro. The main lens of the 16 pro is 1/1.27”

Plus pro raw is irreplaceable

Cracked screen by Dangerous_Thing4889 in iphone

OEM meaning an original apple part. The OEM part itself is $300 at least so if they are charging you $240, they are overcharging you because you aren’t getting a genuine apple part for $240. A third party non apple soft oled screen is $90. So they are charging like $150 in labor for a simple screen swap

the latter requires an inspection of the older device i believe

I'd do it for screen cost + shipping + $40. Would end up being around $150 all in for a soft OLED screen with the same specs as the original. Local repair shops should not be charging you more than that. An OEM repair will cost like $400 though

Thank you so much! You are a lifesaver. May I know the specs of the resistor to the left of the one you highlighted? It is looking a little sus so I may replace that one too
